2018 Sun-N-Fun

Just finished another great week at Sun-N-Fun at Linder Airport in Lakeland Florida. Surprising with my experiences with large air craft. I was assigned to the Seaplane group (I've never flown in one). One of the best jobs out there. The following pictures are some of the air craft that taxi'd past our tent on the way in or out. We had air shows every day that were just in front of us. Two our left were all of the military aircraft from several generations including my favorite the P-38 Lightning. There were heavy jets, light jets, all size twin props, single proped, and vintage aircraft. Due to the rain storm on Tuesday the first open day, on Wednesday when the airport opened planes were droping in back to back on both runways. Thee were over 1100 aircraft that came in that day. Apparently during this week it is supposed to be the busiest airport.
