Next day’s trip was a train ride through the Verdi
Canyon. My GPS always gives me options. We took the scenic road there. We felt
like we were back in Germany with all of the switch back roads. It was a
beautiful drive. Remember we started at almost 7,000 feet and were heading to a
canyon. As we came out of this downhill spiral we ended up at The Verdi train station. At the bottom of the mountain we ended up going through the town of Sedona.
Sedona Arizona – what a beautiful city. We finally arrived at the train station. There weren’t any regular tickets so we ended up going first class – we were glad we did. The train trip through the gorge was four hours. We were glad to have plush seats instead of wood benches. The drinks and food along the way helped as well.
Every once in a while, we see a photo of beautiful Joan standing next to something. When R we going 2 C Dave standing next 2 something...maybe a squirrel or a ground hog????
