Winslow Arizona

Our first ports of call are places we went past heading to Flagstaff. The first one I couldn’t remember why until I looked at some pamphlets. It was Winslow Arizona. It was the song by the Eagles – Take It Easy – that mentions standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona. There is a statue there. I can understand why they would mention about standing on the corner there. It is on Route 66 and there are some nice murals on the walls – but there is nothing there – not even a decent place to eat!
