Second Driving Day

Our second driving day is upon us and it is going to be a long one seeing how I'm now driving fifteen - twenty miles per hour then normal. Being an early riser, I was able to motivate Joan out of a deep sleep and to the front of the RV while I bring in the bed, disconnect the AC power and then lower the jacks. By 0630 we were on the road heading to Jackson MS. From there to Vicksburg MS (If you ever get the opportunity to visit this town it is beautiful - there is a lot to see and do there), over into Louisiana and up to Little Rock Arkansas on I-40 to Oklahoma City up I-35 to just south of the Kansas border.
I had been driving for over thirteen hours. By the time we stopped it was ten PM. I found a truck stop. A place that all of the blogs say for those driving RV's not to stay. I squeezed in-between to semi's put my levelers out and my bed out and that was it until 0530.
